Missions at NHBC

RA’s

Our mission organization for boys meets each Wednesday at 7:15 pm (6:00 pm Sundays July-September). In addition to mission studies and projects, activities include camping, crafts, and recreation.

Mission Trips

National Heights recently completed a mission trip to Wyoming. In March 2012, we will journey to Taiwan. Annual youth mission trips have included journeys to Panama City, Kansas City, and inner city Springfield.

WMU

Women’s Missionary Union has a long history at National Heights Baptist Church. The WMU also coordinates our children’s missions groups including Girls in Action, and Mission Friends. Women, youth, and children are invited to participate. Each group actively prays for, learns about, gives to, and does missions.

Mission to Guadalajara

Under the leadership of Robb Chandler, Missions Committee Chairperson, National Heights participates in annual Greene County Baptist Association mission trips, including our partnership with the Nazareth Baptist Church in Guadalajara, Mexico.

NHBC partners with the International Mission Board and the North American Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention. In addition to participation through the Cooperative Program and special prayer emphases and offerings, NHBC has four members currently serving as missionaries with the IMB and NAMB.
