Statement of Vision and Mission

Mission Statement:

 

To lead children to Love God, Love People and Grow Together

Love God through Worship

 

At NHBC we seek to teach children that God is their Creator (Genesis 1:1) and He loves them (Mark 10:13-14).

 

We strive to teach children how they can, in age and developmentally appropriate ways, worship God (Psalm 145:3) and obey God (Romans 12:1).

 

Love God through Evangelism, Missions and Ministry

 

We seek to express God’s love to children at NHBC by pointing children to God’s love expressed through His Son, nurturing children in growing to understand their need for the Savior, and leading children to experience a personal relationship with Christ.

We teach children how they can be involved in Christ’s mission in our world (Acts 1:8).

 

We provide ministry to children and their families, as well as teach children how they can be involved in ministry.

 

Grow Together through Discipleship and Fellowship

 

We provide ministry focused on Jesus’ love and salvation.

 

We provide Bible-based teaching in a safe, secure and developmentally appropriate environment where children can learn and grow in their understanding of God’s love.

 

We strive to lead children to apply Bible-based truths in their lives.

 

We provide opportunities for children to develop Christ-centered relationships and for their families to participate in family recreation activities.
